Senior Staff Social Media Manager

We are seeking a Social Media Manager to lead the strategy and execution of social programs that drive measurable business impact. Boston Dynamics has been known for decades for our social reach; this role will maintain our position as a leading voice in the industry, while elevating and expanding our social presence through the next phase of our company’s growth.This role will manage the company’s organic and paid social presence while partnering closely with other key internal teams, including Demand Generation, Product & Industry Marketing, Brand & Communications, and Executive Leadership. As an internal SME for all things social, you will work cross-functionally to drive Boston Dynamics’ strategic goals with social tactics and amplify thought leadership, brand narratives, product launches, demand gen campaigns, and corporate announcements. You will build and execute social strategies that support full-funnel marketing objectives, from brand visibility to conversion.What You’ll DoOwn Social Strategy Across the FunnelDevelop and execute a social media strategy aligned across the entire funnel, from brand & communications all the way through demand generation and revenue goalsBalance brand storytelling with performance-driven campaignsTranslate business priorities into social programs that drive engagement and conversionManage Organic Social PresenceOwn day-to-day publishing across key platforms (YouTube, LinkedIn, X, Instagram, and TikTok)Build and elevate thought leadership for key executive voices, and own content/distribution for our social employee advocacy programsEnsure consistency in voice, tone, and regular posting rhythm, leading to high-quality brand presence and continued audience engagement & expansionDevelop strategies for influencer relationships and promotion of our employer branding and recruiting initiativesAmplify Content & CommunicationsPartner with Product & Industry Marketing team to distribute blogs, videos, and thought leadership contentWork with Communications team to support PR moments, announcements, and corporate storytellingTranslate long-form content into high-performing social formatsDrive Demand Generation & Pipeline via SocialBuild campaigns that generate leads through paid and organic social channelsSupport ABM programs by targeting priority accounts on platforms like LinkedIn, Demandbase, X, Instagram, and Tik Tok. Partner with Demand Generation to promote gated content, webinars, events (trade shows), and product campaignsPlan and manage paid social programs, including sponsored content, retargeting campaigns, and account-based targetingContinuously test and optimize creative, audiences, and messagingMeasure & Optimize PerformanceBuild reporting around engagement, reach, and audience demographicsTrack and optimize Demand Gen campaigns for lead volume & quality, cost per lead, and pipeline influenced & sourcedIdentify high-performing content and scale what worksProvide insights back to the broader Marketing & Communications teamWhat Success Looks Like (12 Months)Social channels are aligned, consistent, and contributing to the broader Boston Dynamics in meaningful and scalable waysSocial becomes a consistent contributor to marketing-sourced pipeline, leading to increased lead generation from social channels and higher engagement rates within target accountsStrong messaging & content alignment across Brand & Communications, Product & Industry Marketing, and Demand GenExecutive and employee voices activated on socialWho You AreMinimum of 5 years of experience in social media, digital marketing, brand & communications, or demand generationProven ability to drive leads and pipeline through social channelsStrong understanding of paid social platforms (especially Youtube and LinkedIn)Experience working cross-functionally with content and communications teamsData-driven with experience in campaign performance analysisStrong writing and content instinctsComfortable operating in a fast-paced, performance-oriented environmentExperience in high-tech, industrial, or relevant B2B industriesFamiliarity with ABM strategies and toolsExperience supporting executive social presenceExperience with social media management (Sprout Social), marketing automation and CRM platformsWe are interested in every qualified candidate who is eligible to work in the United States. However, we are not able to sponsor visas for this position.The base pay range for this position is between $120,000 to $145,000.00 annually. Base pay will depend on multiple individualized factors, including, but not limited to, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This range represents a good-faith estimate of compensation at the time of posting.
