Make an Impact.**Val Verde Regional Medical Center is seeking an organized, people-focused Recruiting Coordinator to support our recruitment and talent acquisition efforts.In this role, you'll partner closely with department leaders and Human Resources to help attract, engage, and onboard talented professionals across the organization. From sourcing candidates and coordinating interviews to supporting new-hire onboarding and maintaining recruiting data, you'll play an important role in creating a positive experience for candidates and new employees.If you're a strong communicator who enjoys recruiting, building relationships, staying organized, and keeping multiple priorities moving, we'd love to hear from you.**What You'll Do****As our Recruiting Coordinator, you will:*** Source candidates through job boards, social media, networking, employee referrals, colleges and other recruiting channels.* Review applications and resumes to identify qualified candidates based on position requirements.* Create engaging job postings and advertise openings across appropriate platforms.* Serve as a primary point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment process.* Coordinate phone, video and onsite interviews with candidates and department leaders.* Coordinate candidate travel arrangements and expenses when applicable and approved.* Initiate the onboarding process for selected candidates, including offer letters, pre-employment background checks and collection of required documentation.* Maintain accurate information within the applicant tracking system and ensure recruiting records and documentation remain current.* Prepare recruiting and workforce reports and analyze hiring data to identify opportunities for improvement.* Support the creation and maintenance of accurate, confidential employee records.* Coordinate and conduct new-hire onboarding to help employees successfully transition into the organization.* Maintain required recruitment, selection and employment data for EEO-1 and other compliance programs.* Partner with management on job transfers, promotions, compensation considerations and other employment changes.* Assist with job description development and updates.* Support compliance with federal, state and hospital employment regulations.* Provide employees with information regarding career development and internal job opportunities.* Assist with HR-related training, including interviewing, selection, performance management and workforce management topics.* Review recruiting-related contracts and make recommendations for continuation or change.* Process recruiting-related invoices according to established procedures.**What We're Looking For****The ideal candidate will bring:*** 3–5 years of current Human Resources and recruitment experience* Experience with interviewing, candidate selection and online recruiting* Working knowledge of employment laws and compliance requirements* Strong written and verbal communication skills* Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities* Strong organizational and time-management skills* Attention to detail and accuracy* Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines* Experience sourcing candidates through a variety of recruiting channels* Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and recruiting tools* Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint**Education*** High school diploma or equivalent required* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field preferred**Why This Role Matters**Our Recruiting Coordinator is an important connection between candidates, hiring leaders and Human Resources.
