Tax Senior Manager
Remote flexibility with offices near Akron or Youngstown, OH
Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse portfolio of tax clients across a variety of industries.
- Review complex federal, state, and local tax returns for corporations, partnerships, S corporations, trusts, and individuals.
- Provide strategic tax planning and consulting services to business owners and high net worth clients.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients
- Mentor, coach, and review the work of tax staff, seniors, and managers.
- Assist with staff development, performance evaluations, and training initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve client operations through proactive tax strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
- CPA license required.
- 6+ years of recent public accounting tax experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience reviewing complex tax returns and supervising staff.
- Familiarity with modern tax preparation and workflow software.
