Independent Contractor - Furniture Delivery

Job Description

Direct Impact Logistics is looking for an Owner- Operator/Independent Service Provider Driving Team for furniture delivery routes with basic assembly and drop off service

Average Weekly Gross: $3,000 / Week.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Perform timely and accurate furniture deliveries, including in-home assembly and installation.
Properly select and use basic hand tools to assemble and install furniture.
Adjust, assemble, and install a variety of furniture items according to manufacturer and company standards.
Safely load and unload furniture while providing a professional in-home White Glove delivery experience .
Complete scheduled 2-day delivery routes & 1 Day Routes.
Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach throughout each delivery.

Requirements:

26-foot box truck with lift gate.
Provide a two-person delivery team .
Must have a complete personal set of tools required for furniture assembly and installation.
Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
Driver must have an active MC and DOT number registered with FMCSA .
Previous professional experience in furniture delivery, assembly, installation, or a willingness to learn the trade.
Must be at least 21 years of age .
Ability to safely lift, carry, load, and unload furniture throughout the delivery process.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Reliable, professional, and committed to maintaining White Glove service standards.
