Accountant Location: Bethel, CT (hybrid) Compensation: Up to $90k DOE We are partnering with a growing financial services organization to identify an Accountant for a newly available opportunity within its corporate accounting team. Key Responsibilities * Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations across a variety of balance sheet accounts * Support month-end close activities and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting * Perform analytical reviews and prepare supporting schedules and documentation * Assist with cash management and reporting for internal and external stakeholders * Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and operational efficiencies * Support intercompany accounting, accruals, debt, interest expense, tax, and other general accounting functions * Partner with the accounting team on special projects and ad hoc initiatives Top Priorities for This Role 1.
