Occasionally, the RN will float between various Med-Surg units including Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Respiratory, Observation, and ED/Med-Surg boarders. The schedule is 36 hours per week on the night shift from 7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. Every other weekend is required. There is no call requirement. BLS and ACLS are required. Epic EMR proficiency is required and must be documented. The RN must be able to read telemetry and will be tested for this skill on the first day. Failure to pass the competency test will result in termination. Termination will also occur if Epic proficiency is not confirmed. All requests for time off must be disclosed upon application submission. Requested time off added after submission will not be honored.
