Automotive Technician

Automotive TechnicianJim Falk Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Fiat in Kahului, Hawaii is seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Technician to join our team. This is a full-time, individual contributor role in the auto industry. The Automotive Technician will be responsible for performing vehicle repairs and maintenance services ranging from basic oil changes to advanced engine diagnostics and repairs. This role requires attention to detail, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.Compensation & Benefits: The compensation for this role is $18 to $35 per hour, paid biweekly. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for career growth and advancement within our company.Responsibilities:Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checksDiagnose and repair vehicle issues, including engine, transmission, and electrical problemsUse diagnostic equipment to accurately identify and troubleshoot vehicle issuesKeep detailed records of all services and repairs performed on vehiclesCommunicate with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle maintenance and repair recommendations and updatesMaintain a clean and organized work areaFollow all safety procedures and regulationsStay updated with the latest automotive technology and techniques through trainings and coursesRequirements:Prior experience as an Automotive Technician is requiredASE certifications preferredHigh School Diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification from an automotive school is a plusStrong technical and mechanical skillsAbility to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environmentAttention to detail and ability to follow instructions and proceduresGood communication and problem-solving skillsMust have a valid driver's license and clean driving recordAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of timeEEOC Statement: We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
