Physical Therapy Assistant

Job Title: Physical Therapy Assistant Profession: PTA Specialty: Physical Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS Certification Must-Have: Required certifications Description: Unit notes indicate Tuesday through Saturday shifts. Day shift runs from 07:30 to 16:30 with a one-hour lunch break. Saturdays focus on in-patient care. Most Saturday shifts require approximately 2.5 hours of work. The position involves 90% outpatient care and 10% inpatient care. The cancellation policy allows for up to 4 shifts to be canceled per 13-week assignment, with 3 shifts for shorter assignments. The charting system used is Cerner. Trauma level is classified as CAH. Care setting is post-acute. The position may require floating to different areas as needed.
