Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM; 12-hour shifts plus call shifts (6-10 per schedule, 30-minute response) and weekend rotation (4 shifts per 4-week schedule)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert nursing care in a fast-paced Cardiac Cath Lab, assisting with interventional, EP, and vascular procedures
• Circulate during cardiac and vascular cases, maintaining a sterile field and ensuring patient safety at all times
• Monitor patients' hemodynamic status, interpret dysrhythmias, and respond quickly to changing conditions
• Document accurately in Cerner and Xper EMR systems and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team
• Participate in on-call rotations, delivering timely care within 30 minutes when called in
• Mentor and support technologists and other team members to promote excellence in patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Active Arizona RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience; Level I trauma experience preferred
• Must pass dysrhythmia exam (80% or higher) and simulation lab for Foley insertion and central line dressing changes
• Comfortable with call schedule and 30-minute response time

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in sterile technique and infection control practices
• Proficiency with Cerner, Xper, Philips, and Siemens equipment
• Strong dysrhythmia interpretation skills
• Excellent patient monitoring and hemodynamic assessment skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a high-acuity trauma environment
