Position Overview

We're welcoming a talented and empathic Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to our dynamic team of imaging specialists who are committed to delivering exemplary care. Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a comprehensive array of ultrasound evaluations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, elucidating each step with empathy and clarity
• Work hand-in-hand with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver top-notch diagnostic images
• Handle and maintain imaging equipment, promptly reporting any malfunctions
• Thoroughly document examinations and maintain patient records within the electronic medical record system
• Stay abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and guidelines

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• A current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred

Skills Needed

• Strong technical expertise in sonographic imaging methods and patient positioning
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficient at working both independently and cohesively within a multidisciplinary team
