Schedule: 5 days/week | 8-hour shifts | 40 hours/week

Pay Rate

Local: $45.00 - $51.00/hour
Traveler: $45.00 - $51.00/hour

We are seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist (CST) to support Adult and Pediatric Operating Rooms in an acute-care hospital setting.

• Current Surgical Technologist/CST certification.

• Minimum 3 years of recent Operating Room experience within the last 4 years.

• Acute-care hospital experience of similar size and level.

• Strong scrub experience.

• Adult and Pediatric OR experience.

• Level I Trauma Center or teaching-hospital experience preferred.

• Experience with General Surgery and specialty cases.

• First-time travelers considered with comparable hospital experience.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently with minimal orientation and supervision.

• Perform Surgical Technologist duties in Adult and Pediatric Operating Rooms.

• Prepare operating rooms, instruments, equipment, and supplies.

• Scrub for surgical procedures and maintain a sterile field.

• Anticipate the needs of surgeons and the surgical team.

• Support general and specialty surgical procedures.

• Handle, prepare, and maintain surgical instruments and supplies.

• Follow strict sterile technique and infection-control protocols.

• Assist with surgical counts and required documentation.

• Prepare and maintain the OR before, during, and after procedures.

• Communicate effectively with surgeons, nurses, anesthesia personnel, and other healthcare professionals.

• Maintain patient safety and follow hospital and OR policies.

• Perform other Surgical Technologist duties as assigned.
