Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain trusting relationships with clients, facilitating open communications that promote healing.
- Diagnose a variety of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, and relationship issues, to determine the most effective treatment strategies.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on thorough assessments, ensuring each plan is aligned with the client’s unique circumstances and preferences.
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, fostering a participative environment that encourages clients to engage fully in their therapeutic journey.
- Regularly evaluate patient progress through ongoing assessments, adjusting treatment plans as needed to improve efficacy and outcomes.
- Provide referrals to specialists and offer resources for community support as needed, ensuring comprehensive care for your patients.
- Document all sessions and maintain accurate records according to the clinic’s policies and state regulations.
Patient Population / Client Focus
In this role, you will engage with a diverse client base comprising individuals, couples, and families from various backgrounds and cultures. Our patients often face complex mental health challenges, including trauma, interpersonal conflicts, and emotional distress. Your skills in building rapport and insightful understanding of cultural competencies will be paramount in delivering effective support and advocacy.
Qualifications
- Active State licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist is required.
- A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is necessary for qualifying for licensure.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills are essential for balancing caseloads and administrative responsibilities.
Preferred Experience
- Demonstrated experience providing individual and/or group therapy, with a focus on evidence-based treatment modalities.
- Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote mental health service delivery will be considered an asset.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
