Shift: 3x12 hour Nights Years of Experience: 2 year(s) preferred Travel experience preferred Charting: Epic Certifications: BLS Ratios: 1:6 Patient Diagnoses: Sepsis, CIWA, Confusion, AMS, COPD, Post op cares, AKI, Trauma, Respiratory failure, Bowel obstruction, Pyelonephritis, Cardiac conditions, Diabetes, GI conditions, Isolation, SI with medical indications 50-mile radius rule, no local candidates Essential Job Functions: • Demonstrates knowledge and appropriate use of the Nursing Process for patients in the following age groups: Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults and Geriatrics. • Documents thoroughly as care is delivered, following regulatory and hospital requirements. • Assumes responsibility for clinical competencies and professional development of self and others. • Practices in a clinical environment through application of theoretical knowledge and practical skills • Ability to work varied shifts and/or days including weekends and holidays Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • Must be able to utilize good judgment, demonstrate patience, utilize best practices for patient care as expected by department leaders and maintain a professional demeanor at all times. • Must be able to work in a busy, stressful and work environment where practice changes to meet new patient safety requirements, goals or objectives. • Computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, Electronic medical records software. • Organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage workload expectations. • Interpersonal verbal communication and advanced math skills. • Creativity, problem analysis, team work and decision making.
