Spotter Driver

As a Peroxide Bulk Loader, you will be responsible for operating a spotter truck to transfer peroxide throughout the facility and hooking up hoses to tanks to facilitate the transfer of chemicals. Prior experience as a spotter driver is necessary, and having chemical spotter experience is advantageous but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Operate a spotter truck to transfer peroxide within the facility.
• Hook up hoses to tanks for chemical transfer.
• Work with pumps to transfer chemicals in the Liquid Plant.
• Operate forklifts in an industrial setting.
• Transfer liquid chemicals to totes or drums manually or using a sit-down forklift.
• Verify products on or off the truck through written documentation.
• Label drums and totes accurately.
• Perform consistent heavy lifting of materials.

Essential Skills

• Experience in labor, chemical handling, and forklift operation.
• Skill in loading, unloading, and production processes.
• Ability to operate a spotter truck and work with pumps and chemicals.
• Proficiency in sit-down forklift or clamp truck operation.
• Experience in an industrial or heavy manufacturing atmosphere.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Joliet, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
