At Elara Caring, Physical Therapist Assistants provide high-quality care for patients in their homes, following the Plan of Care established by a supervising Physical Therapist. Responsibilities include performing direct therapy services according to standards of practice, instructing patients and caregivers in home exercise programs and use of assistive devices, and ensuring quality and continuity of care. The role requires adherence to state practice guidelines and collaboration with the care team to meet patient goals.

• Promote Elara Carings mission and ensure quality of care.
• Deliver physical therapy services under supervision and in alignment with physician orders.
• Educate patients and caregivers on safe use of mobility aids.
• Report changes in patient status to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Follow all safety and compliance procedures.

Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program approved by the American Therapy Association.
• Current and unrestricted PTA license for the state of practice.
• Minimum six months of experience preferred.
• Ability and willingness to travel within assigned territory (up to 50%).
• Must have a dependable vehicle, valid drivers license, and current auto insurance.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds and assist in patient transfers.
