Job Description
ICU Registered Nurse - Adult

Schedule
- Shift length: 12-hour shifts
- Weekly hours typically: 36 or 48 hours options
- Weekend requirement: Every-other weekend; minimum of 13 weekend shifts per contract
- Holiday requirement: Must work two of three holiday bundles (Thanksgiving & day after; Christmas Eve & Christmas Day; New Year's Eve & New Year's Day)

Assignment Details
- Minimum contract: 10 weeks
- Orientation duration: 24 hours

Requirements
- License: New Mexico RN license (may be pending at time of submission)
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS required; NIHSS and TNCC preferred
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year, including ventilator management experience required
- Skills: Airway/ventilator management, Central/arterial line management, management of renal failure, hemodynamic monitoring, and interpretation of ABGs

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU setting.
- Manage ventilators and support patients with respiratory failure and related conditions.
- Monitor and document patients' vital signs and clinical status accurately.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care and outcomes.
- Administer medications and manage intravenous lines and infusions.

- COVID vaccine required; medical or religious exemptions accepted (form and provider signature required)
- No RTO during the first 7 days or the last day of the contract; any RTO longer than 7 days requires approval
