Cardiac Electrophysiologist

AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) Cardiology is seeking a dynamic and energetic cardiac electrophysiologist to join their comprehensive team across UChicago Medicine AdventHealth Bolingbrook, Hinsdale, and La Grange hospitals. This physician will play a key role in growing the Electrophysiology team in collaboration with interventional and non-invasive cardiologists and CT surgeons. The position involves delivering exceptional care through a mix of general cardiology, electrophysiology, inpatient and outpatient procedures, and rotating call coverage. Practice Info Affiliated with UChicago Medicine and AdventHealth Practice full spectrum electrophysiology including pacemakers, ICDs, CRTs, SVT ablation, a fib ablations and VT/PVC ablation Hospital coverage at Hinsdale, La Grange and Bolingbrook Outpatient and Inpatient procedures at Hinsdale Hospital Inpatient cases only at La Grange and Bolingbrook Hospitals EP procedures in advanced EP lab Responsibilities Help continue to grow our Electrophysiology team in association with our specialists in interventional cardiology, non-invasive cardiology and CT surgeons Provide general cardiology along with EP Share call coverage in rotation with practice partners and other community cardiology physicians Hospital rounding, consults/admissions, OP clinic and procedures Compensation Annual Salary: $700K - $850k Shift & Schedule Share call coverage in rotation with practice partners and other community cardiology physicians Qualifications Board Certification in Internal Medicine with subspecialty board certification in Cardiovascular Disease Formal fellowship in Electrophysiology also required High caliber, quality focused, innovative physicians should apply Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential New graduates or experienced physicians welcome to apply Completion of ACGME approved Electrophysiology Fellowship Board Eligible/Board Certified in Electrophysiology Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
