Shift Hours • 7PM-7AM ,

Schedule Notes • Auto Offers Approved • OT Billed after 48 hours • REQUIRED: 2+ years Med Surg RN experience, BLS and ACLS certifications in hand from AHA, Current MI RN licensure


Job Summary
The Registered Nurse provides leadership in coordinating and delivering quality, compassionate patient care. The role utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document patient care and education. The RN communicates effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team and participates in identifying and implementing solutions to achieve patient care goals.


Key Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate quality, compassionate patient care.
  
  
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  
  
• Provide, delegate, supervise, and document patient care and patient/family education.
  
  
• Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans based on patient needs.
  
  
• Monitor patient progress and identify variances from established care goals.
  
  
• Communicate pertinent patient and family information effectively to physicians and other healthcare team members.
  
  
• Participate in identifying and implementing solutions to address patient care needs.
  
  
• Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and hospital personnel to support positive patient outcomes.
  
  
• Perform other related nursing duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
  
  
• Current Registered Nurse licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
  
  
• Current BLS certification.
  
  
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
  
  
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
  
  
• Strong communication skills with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
  
  
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN).

Required Certification & Licensure

• Current Registered Nurse license through the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
  
  
• BLS Certification.

Working Conditions
Position may be based in a hospital or ambulatory/mobile imaging setting. Exposure to radiation, high-voltage equipment, and infectious diseases is possible with appropriate safety precautions. Position may require assisting with patient transfers and moving equipment.
