Job Description

Make a meaningful impact in education by providing vital support to students across a dynamic school district as an Occupational Therapist. This full-time, onsite contract role offers the opportunity to collaborate with educators, students, and families to promote student growth and success. With a schedule of 35 hours per week (with a 30-minute unpaid lunch daily), you’ll have a set routine while making a difference in young lives.

Key Qualifications:

  • Hold a current, valid Occupational Therapy license—please attach your license upon application
  • Previous experience supporting students in a school-based setting is highly preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working closely with teachers, administrators, and students
  • A commitment to best practices in therapy and individualized student care

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs across multiple school sites within the district
  • Conduct student assessments and work collaboratively to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Maintain thorough, timely documentation, progress reports, and compliance with district standards and federal guidelines
  • Communicate regularly with staff and families to support the needs of each student served
  • Engage in district-mandated onboarding, including completion of a contractor packet and necessary background checks

Important Application Notes:Candidates must pay for CBC fingerprinting ($85) and complete required paperwork, including a TB test (unless providing services virtually), fingerprint receipt, and Child Protective Registry Check. Processing of documentation can take several business days before final clearance and badge appointment.

Envision yourself supporting the growth and independence of students in a vibrant school community. If you are ready to bring your expertise and passion to this influential contract role, submit your application along with your current OT license today!
