Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 10 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience.

• ADN completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Illinois license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 24 months gap required between for Staff at Program: RightSourcing Program - Carle Health and no current placement allowed at Program: RightSourcing Program - Carle Health.

Unit Details: - Inpatient float pool providing specialized medical and nursing care for cardiac, pulmonary, oncology, stroke, post-surgical, rehab, and mental health populations. - Medical diagnoses include coronary artery disease, angina, myocardial ischemia, myocardial infarction, dysrhythmia, syncope, congestive heart failure, strokes, cancer, cellulitis, and chest pain. - Manages acute and chronically ill cardiac and pulmonary patients and provides post-operative care for the complex surgical population. - Responsibilities include preparing patients for procedures, pain management, IV venipuncture, and blood administration.

Shift & Scheduling: - Weekend and holiday rotation.

Floating Requirements: - Floats to various inpatient units including Medical-Oncology, Surgical-Orthopedic, Cardiovascular Care Unit, Progressive Care Unit, Mental Health Unit, and Acute Rehab. - May float to Carle Health Methodist Hospital, Young Minds, Carle Health Pekin Hospital, and/or Carle Health Proctor Hospital. Travelers assigned to the Greater Peoria Service Area may be required to float between these sites, and the Carle leader will notify the traveler directly when there is a need to float between locations.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
