Primary Care Physician Physician

Role Overview The Primary Care Physician provides episodic, preventive, and acute healthcare to adult patients, including occupational health services such as physicals and medical monitoring, in a clinical setting. Responsibilities include conducting patient histories and physical exams, prescribing treatments, developing care plans, and referring patients to specialists when needed. They evaluate treatment effectiveness, maintain medical records, and participate in setting health center goals. Collaboration with NP/PA is essential for patient care, with available consultation and performance feedback. They may also develop health programs and conduct quality reviews to ensure compliance and quality standards. Qualifications & Skills Valid state medical license and DEA registration Current board certification (ABMS, AMA, or AOA) Medical degree and CPR certification (AHA standards) Minimum of three years post-residency clinical experience Experience in primary care, urgent care, or emergency settings; occupational healthcare experience is a plus Ability to collaborate with NP/PA and provide clinical supervision Additional Duties & Requirements Provide patient care without evening or weekend hours Maintain accurate medical records and conduct periodic quality reviews Ensure compliance with state laws and regulations, including collaboration agreements with NP/PA Participate in health program development as needed #J-18808-Ljbffr
