Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 17 weeks Shift: 10-hour Days Hours per Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM Experience: 2 years in specialty License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - 2 years of experience in cardiac cath lab - Experience in diagnostic and interventional lab - Balloon pump experience - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with quick turnover Description: Looking for a qualified Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse. The role involves circulating in a busy cardiac catheterization lab. There are 4 procedures rooms to work in, including 2 cath labs, 1 interventional radiology room, and 1 electrophysiology room. On average, 15 to 20 cases are done per day. Responding to on-call duties is required, with a 30-minute response time. Nurses will have rotating days off. Every fifth weekend will provide a 4-day weekend. Techs will have a set day off each week. IR experience is preferred but not required. Candidates must have strong teamwork skills. Prepare to cover during holidays, with a rotation with current staff. Professional scrubs are provided, and color options include solids. Floating to other units is not required. A specific orientation period is not detailed. This position requires a strong ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively.
