Responsibilities of the Accounts Receivable Clerk entail:

• Proactively contact customers via phone and email regarding overdue accounts and past-due invoices.
• Regularly review and analyze the Accounts Receivable aging report to identify delinquent accounts, prioritize high-balance overdue accounts, and take appropriate action.
• Investigate and resolve customer disputes, short-payments, pricing discrepancies, and missing purchase orders by collaborating closely with all departments within the company
• Accurately post incoming customer payments, wire transfers, ACH deposits, and credit card transactions to the correct customer accounts in a timely manner.
• Evaluate the creditworthiness of new and existing clients, set appropriate credit limits, and monitor risk to minimize potential bad debt exposure.
• Document all customer communications, promises-to-pay, and dispute statuses meticulously within Karmak
• Approve credit releases for customers as needed

Requirements

Requirements to be an Accounts Receivable Clerk:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High School diploma or GED required
• Ability to lift, carry and move objects up to 10 pounds
