Senior General Ledger Accountant

Supporting day-to-day accounting operations, the remote Senior GL Accountant will manage general ledger maintenance, perform account reconciliations, and assist with month-end close activities while collaborating closely with the finance team. Key responsibilities: Prepare and post journal entries for the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner Support the preparation of monthly financial reporting packages for management and private equity sponsors Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 2-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in public accounting or a private equity portfolio company Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems preferred Experience preparing commission statements and handling accruals and reconciliations
