Job Description

As a Security Officer Security Screening in Pooler GA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location where you will help monitor entry activity conduct screening procedures and support access control processes. This role combines visible presence strong communication and customer service while helping promote a professional environment. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors and drivers by carrying out security-related screening procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen people packages bags and/or personal items in accordance with site procedures and report prohibited items irregularities and/or policy concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and document observations and activities in required logs and reports.
• Monitor entry and exit points verify credentials and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas shipping areas and/or receiving areas.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around designated areas of the location which may include screening stations access points trailer yards and perimeter areas as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
