Job Title: Welder – 1st Shift Job Description

This role focuses on MIG and TIG welding of aluminum and stainless steel weldments while fabricating components from blueprints in a fast-paced, team-oriented production environment. You will use a variety of tools to measure, cut, grind, and shape components, consistently delivering high-quality welds and finished parts that meet customer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and TIG welding on aluminum, stainless steel, and other metals to produce high-quality weldments.

• Fabricate and assemble components and parts according to blueprints, layouts, and work instructions.

• Measure, cut, grind, and shape components using various tools and equipment to achieve precise dimensions and tolerances.

• Interpret and work from blueprints, layouts, and other types of work orders or instructions to complete jobs accurately and efficiently.

• Inspect welds and fabricated components to ensure they meet quality standards and customer requirements.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area to support a safe and efficient production environment.

• Collaborate with team members to prioritize work based on customer needs and production schedules.

• Follow all safety guidelines and standard operating procedures while operating welding and fabrication equipment.

Essential Skills

• Proven experience with MIG and TIG welding on aluminum and stainless steel weldments.

• Ability to fabricate and assemble components and parts using welding and fabrication tools.

• Strong ability to read, understand, and work from blueprints, layouts, and work orders.

• Proficiency in measuring, cutting, grinding, and shaping metal components using various tools.

• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality welds and finished products.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced shop environment as part of a team.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience welding a variety of metals beyond aluminum and stainless steel.

• Comfort working with different fabrication tools and equipment in a production setting.

• Strong understanding of customer-focused production and on-time delivery.

Work Environment

The role operates primarily on 1st shift, working 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday, with overtime available on Fridays. A 2nd shift option runs from 4:00 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. The facility is clean, well lit, and fast paced, providing a modern and organized shop floor environment. The team-oriented culture encourages collaboration, clear communication, and a shared focus on putting customer needs and job requirements first while working with welding and fabrication equipment in a professional production setting.

This is a Permanent position based out of Neenah, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $54080.00 - $70720.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
