Role Overview

The Outside Sales Representative is a full-time, on-site role based in Charlotte, NC. This role is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, meeting with prospective and existing clients, and presenting payment solutions in a clear, consultative manner. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting in-person sales presentations, demonstrating POS and payment products, managing a sales pipeline, and following up with leads to close deals. The representative will build and maintain strong relationships with business owners, provide ongoing customer support, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and high client satisfaction. The role involves regular local travel within the Charlotte area to visit customer locations and attend networking events.

Qualifications

• Strong sales presentation skills, with the ability to effectively demonstrate and explain payment solutions to clients
• Relationship-building and customer service skills to foster long-term partnerships and provide responsive support
• Excellent communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication with diverse business stakeholders
• New business development skills — prospecting, qualifying leads, and converting opportunities into sales
• Experience in B2B sales, financial services, or technology solutions is a plus
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and manage a structured sales pipeline
• Comfort with learning and explaining payment technology, POS systems, and related software
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally within the Charlotte, NC area
• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus
