Shift Details: Shift 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM, 5 shifts per week, 40 scheduled hours.
Job Order Details: Start Date 07/27/2026, End Date 10/26/2026, Duration 13 weeks.
Job Description: OR RN - must have circulating experience. 5x8s with call. Rotating call between 2 RNs (Mon, Tues, Friday-Sunday; Wednesday and Thursday the following week and rotates). Call is only for general surgery and emergency c-sections. Traveler will be required to report to SHANNON MEDICAL CENTER IN SAN ANGELO FOR FIRST DAY, and then resume contract at Big Spring. 2 years exp and prior travel exp required. Start date within the next 3-5 weeks.

Job Requirements & Qualifications: Previous Charge Experience, Years of Experience, Patient Ratio Experience, Charting System Experience (Epic), Certifications (ACLS, BLS, PALS), Skills (Appendectomy, C-sections, Cholecystectomy, Circumcision, Code response, Colon resection, Colonoscopy, Cystoscopy, Da Vinci Xi Surgical System, Dilation & Curettage, EGD, Electrosurgical units, Fiber optic light sources/cords, Fire Safety, General OR, Hernia repair inguinal/umbilical, Infection control, Laparoscopic assisted cases, Laparoscopic assisted gynecological procedures, Laparoscopic assisted procedures, Laser Safety, Latex Allergy, Malignant Hyperthermia, Radiation Safety, Scrub General Surgery, Specimen Handling/labeling, Starting Peripheral IVs, Urinary bladder catheterization, Wound Management).

Travel Compliance: SSN RTO required with submission, ACLS/BLS/NIHSS/Nursys REQUIRED with submission, License in-hand required with submission, Labs: Clinicians must be available to complete needed lab items within 72 hours of accepting offer or have a plan in place for completion in that timeframe. Local Radius: 110 miles, Local Rule: not accepted, Travel experience highly preferred, Hard document due date: Noon CST Wednesday prior to start.
