Job Title: Club Manager Location: 2041 E. Highland Ave, San Bernardino, CA 92404, United States The Club Manager reports to the Regional Manager and is responsible for overseeing club operations, guaranteeing a positive member experience, and ensuring the financial stability of the club. The role plays a critical part in managing team dynamics and maintaining a high‑energy atmosphere within the Judgement Free Zone®. Club Performance: Proven ability to manage club performance using Profit & Loss statements and key performance indicators to drive operational and financial results. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Grow, develop, and build a winning team by utilizing best practices in hiring, training, coaching, and performance management. Provide excellent service, observe and coach in real time, and lead by example. Ensure every member receives a friendly greeting and goodbye. Develop a plan to drive EFT and maximize key performance indicators, meeting assigned goals for BCM, tour percentage, employee retention, member engagement, and regional inspections. Respond to member service submissions in a timely, professional, and solution‑oriented manner to create raving fans. Foster a culture of adaptability by encouraging open communication, collaboration, and experimentation with new ideas. Lead change‑management efforts and guide teams through transitions with clarity and confidence. Ensure proper open and close procedures and ownership of the business 24/5. Write an effective schedule that meets payroll grid hours and balances support from management and staff. Maintain team knowledge of critical information, such as marketing promotions, corporate initiatives, and new policies. Develop the assistant manager into a future leader through on‑the‑job training in delegation, accountability, and performance management. Perform weekly bank deposits to ensure timely deposit of club revenue. Exhibit flexibility with scheduling as needed. Conduct daily member experience walkthroughs to ensure the facility is clean and operating properly. Conduct 1:1s with the assistant manager to align responsibilities and develop leadership skills. Manage email and calendar to ensure tasks and meetings are completed on time. Use club systems and reporting tools to monitor equipment, labor, payroll accuracy, and key performance metrics, identifying trends and partnering with leadership to address gaps and opportunities. Model ethical, professional, and compliant behavior, maintain confidentiality, and promote a culture of accountability and respect. Physical Demands Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts. Frequent walking throughout the facility. Occasional lifting and carrying of items up to 75 pounds. Reaching, bending, and kneeling as needed for stocking and cleaning tasks. Ability to work in a busy, noisy fitness environment. Occasional use of or exposure to standard cleaning products with appropriate safety procedures and protective equipment. Compensation: $70,304 to $73,000 per year.
