The Chemistry/Biochemistry Department of Misericordia University is conducting a search for Adjunct Faculty to cover lectures and/or labs in Introductory Chemistry courses, as well as upper-level courses, especially Analytical Chemistry. Most, although not all, of the classes would need to be taught during the daytime hours. Masters’ degree in Chemistry (or related field) is required for lectures and Bachelor's for labs, teaching experience is preferred.  

The Science Facility is state-of-the-art, containing up-to-date instrumentation and lab facilities. Faculty adjunct positions will be available starting Fall of 2024, and possibly as early as Summer of 2024. The Chemistry/Biochemistry Department serves multitrack Chemistry and Biochemistry majors, as well as majors in Biology, Nursing, Physical Therapy, and various Liberal Arts majors.
