GroundskeeperRondout Valley Central School District is seeking a full-time Groundskeeper. Qualifications: One year of full-time paid experience, or its part-time equivalent, in park or grounds maintenance activities. Salary: Per contract.General Responsibilities: Incumbents in this title may perform some or all of the following, as well as other related activities not described.Mows, rakes and cuts grass;Operates grounds keeping machinery and equipment;Performs minor maintenance to grounds keeping machinery and equipment;Maintains athletic fields;Keeps grounds free of litter;Plants and care for trees, shrubs and plants;Removes snow and ice from walks, pathways and steps;May secure buildings and property;May perform routine cleaning and maintenance dutiesWork Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m., with the potential for a shift change to 12:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. at the discretion of the Director of Facilities.
