Descripción del puesto El Hospital Estatal de Taunton, operado por el Departamento de Salud Mental, está buscando un Psicólogo V para unirse a nuestro equipo como Supervisor de Psicología. Ubicación y Horario Lugar: Taunton, MA. Jornada: Full time, 40 horas por semana (lunes a viernes, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.). Responsabilidades Supervisar clínicamente y administrar el departamento de Psicología. Facilitar la integración con otros servicios clínicos, incluyendo enfermería, psiquiatría y medicina. Desarrollar y evaluar al personal mediante capacitación, evaluaciones y participación activa en el proceso de contratación. Proporcionar psicoterapia y pruebas psicológicas a una carga de casos. Conducir evaluaciones forenses, pruebas psicológicas y redacción de informes. Desarrollar y mantener relaciones laborales armoniosas y garantizar el cumplimiento de las normas y regulaciones del sector. Proveer supervisión clínica y administrativa al programa MI/PSB (Enfermos Mentales/Comportamientos Sexuales Problemáticos). Colaborar con el Director Médico y el Ejecutivo de Enfermería para abordar casos desafiantes y garantizar atención de alta calidad. Servir como enlace con universidades y promover oportunidades de capacitación para estudiantes de psicología pre-doctorales y doctorales. Realizar otras tareas asignadas según sea necesario. Requisitos y Habilidades Capacidad para administrar, puntuar e interpretar los resultados de pruebas de inteligencia, aptitud y personalidad. Capacidad de ejercer discreción al manejar información confidencial y de preparar informes estadísticos. Capacidad para planificar capacitación o instrucción y trabajar en situaciones grupales. Capacidad para recoger información a través de observación, cuestionamiento y revisión de registros. Capacidad para hacer presentaciones efectivas, dar instrucciones precisas y comunicarse efectivamente. Capacidad para interactuar con personas bajo estrés emocional y físico, y para tratar con diplomacia. Capacidad para tomar decisiones rápidamente, mantener la calma en situaciones estresantes y establecer relaciones laborales armoniosas. Capacidad para mantener registros precisos y supervisar el trabajo de subordinados, incluida la planificación, asignación, revisión y acción disciplinaria. Conocimiento de las leyes, reglas, regulaciones y políticas que rigen las actividades de la unidad asignada. Conocimiento de los principios, prácticas y técnicas de supervisión. Capacidad para planificar, asignar y coordinar actividades de otros. Capacidad para proporcionar atención culturalmente competente y promover la recuperación.
