Cath Lab Tech - Travel Job

Assist physicians and Cath Lab personnel in conducting diagnostic tests and procedures and operate advanced medical equipment to capture crucial images and data of the heart and blood vessels.

Minimum Qualifications

• ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist.
• BLS and ACLS certification. American Heart Association preferred.
• State specific licensure as required for Florida.
• For CV/EP technicians, prior experience scrubbing all Electrophysiology procedures in an acute care setting is required.
• Experience with GE and ESI imaging equipment preferred.
• Experience with Meditech and MacLab documentation systems preferred.
• Call requirement familiarity: experience participating in (4) 10-hour call shifts consistent with typical departmental expectations preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) preferred.
• Previous travel assignment experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to function independently in a fast-paced procedural environment preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift Hours: 07:00-17:00.
• Patient ratio typically 1:1 with 3 staff per room; VT ablation staffing commonly 4 per room.
• Procedures commonly performed: pacemaker implantation (all types), ablations (all types), Watchman, cryoablation.
