MedStar Health is seeking experienced Acute Care Nurse Practitioners (AGACNPs) and Physician Assistants (PAs) to join our Critical Care teams throughout the Washington, D.C. region.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage critically ill adult patients
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans
• Collaborate with intensivists, physicians, specialists, nursing teams, and ancillary staff
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and care coordination
• Perform bedside procedures consistent with training, experience, and departmental needs
• Provide patient and family education while supporting high-quality patient outcomes

Qualifications

Required

• Graduate of an accredited Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• Current AGACNP certification (NP) or NCCPA certification (PA)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Eligible for Maryland licensure
• Minimum of one year of inpatient clinical experience
• Critical Care, ICU, Hospital Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Trauma, Surgical Critical Care, Pulmonary/Critical Care, or other high-acuity inpatient experience
• Procedural experience
• Strong communication, collaboration, and critical-thinking skills

This position has a hiring range of USD $125,000.00 - USD $192,000.00 /Yr.
