Substitute - Bus Driver

The Kettle Falls – Inchelium Transportation Co-Op is accepting applications for school‑bus drivers. Training is provided. Starting pay is $22.11 per hour. This role offers a parent‑friendly, part‑time schedule with school holidays off. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Must be fully certified school bus driver with a valid Washington State Driving Certificate/CDL. Minimum 5 years of driving experience. Good driving record. Good health and willingness to submit to a drug test, State and FBI background check. Terms of Employment As outlined by the Policies and Procedures of Kettle Falls School District. Policies and Procedures can be accessed online at The salary range for the bus driver is $22.11 per hour. Substitutes accrue 1 hour of sick leave for every 40 hours worked. Substitutes who work 630 hours will become benefit eligible for the remainder of the school year. Standard benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance and Long‑Term Disability. Benefits are provided through the School Employee Benefits Board at Verification of identity and United States work authorization must be completed before employment commences. The successful candidate must be fingerprinted. Employment is contingent upon clearance by the Washington State Patrol and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
