Join our team at Marquis Health Consulting Services as a Central Admissions Clinical Liaison!

Schedule: 4 days a week. Tuesday/Thursday in Woburn corporate office, Sat/Sun remote

$30-$60/hr.

Guided by our core values of Passion, Respect, and Excellence , the Central Admissions Clinical Liaison (RN/LPN) supports the centralized intake and admissions process by evaluating referrals, coordinating information, and helping connect patients and residents with the appropriate care setting based on their individual needs and bed availability.

Responsibilities for Central Admissions Clinical Liaison:

• Evaluate, refer, and admit patients or residents for appropriate placement based on individual needs and current bed availability.

• Receive referrals by phone, from care referral partners, via EMR, or by fax.

• Gather information on prospective patients' or residents' needs and refer inquiries to the appropriate admissions staff for discovery and admission.

• Support the central intake and admissions process for multiple Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs) in the Boston region.

• Input data received from hospital system EMRs, faxes, and telephone referrals.

• Ensure all appropriate data is entered into the Referral Tracking System.

• Complete insurance verification and alert Clinical Liaison and Admissions personnel of new referrals.

• Obtain Managed Care Authorizations.

• Evaluate and assess potential patients for clinical appropriateness and placement into one of our family of centers as needed when volume is high.

Qualifications for Central Admissions Clinical Liaison:

• Prior experience as an Admissions Director in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) is required.

• LPN/RN.

• Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office products and PointClickCare (PCC).

• Working knowledge of federal and state regulations and reimbursement, including Managed Care, Medicare, and HMOs.

• Ability to work in the corporate office located in Woburn, MA, 2 days per week, and remotely on weekends.
