Surgical Tech

JOB SUMMARY Seeking a Certified Operating Room Technician (CST) or Surgical Technologist with experience to join our team. The role involves providing direct patient care and assisting the surgical team during operative procedures. Key Responsibilities Prepare the operating room and sterile equipment for surgical procedures. Assist surgeons and surgical teams by anticipating needs during surgery. Maintain a sterile environment throughout the procedure. Handle instruments, supplies, and equipment during surgery. Manage surgical specimens. Document relevant information as required. Adhere to infection control policies and procedures. Schedule / Shift ASAP Start Date Required Qualifications 3 years of relevant experience. First-time travelers are accepted. Experience Minimum of 3 years of experience in an operating room setting. Skills Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and instrumentation. Ability to anticipate the needs of the surgical team. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Certifications BLS certification required. EMR / Systems Epic charting system experience. Unit / Specialty Operating Room (OR) / Surgical Services. Floating / On-Call Must be willing to float to other units. May be required to float to Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center San Pedro.
