Production Operator I
Shift: Rotating 12-hour shifts (Days/Nights every 2 weeks)
Schedule: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM / 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
Pay rate: $21.91 p/h
Position Summary
Operate and monitor production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards.
Responsibilities
• Operate production, packaging, and material-handling equipment.
• Perform quality checks and complete production documentation.
• Monitor equipment, respond to alarms, and report issues.
• Assist with product changeovers, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Participate in Lean, TPM, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Operate forklifts and other powered industrial vehicles upon certification.
Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of manufacturing or production experience preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork.
Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for 12-hour shifts.
• Lift, push, and pull up to 40 lbs.
• Work in a manufacturing environment with dust, noise, temperature fluctuations, and heights.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed.
Ideal Candidate: Safety-focused, dependable, and mechanically inclined with experience in a manufacturing environment.
