Product Owner with Capital Market

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst / Product Owner with strong Capital Markets domain knowledge to work with business stakeholders, technology teams, and product teams to define requirements, improve business processes, and deliver technology solutions.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Trade, Equity, Derivatives, and Securities and experience working across the trade lifecycle and capital markets applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with business stakeholders, product managers, technology teams, and subject matter experts to understand business requirements.
• Gather, analyze, document, and translate business requirements into clear functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria .
• Serve as a bridge between business users and technical development teams.
• Support product vision, roadmap, backlog prioritization, and feature delivery as a Product Owner.
• Analyze and document end-to-end trade lifecycles , including trade capture, validation, confirmation, settlement, and post-trade processing.
• Work on Equity and Derivatives products and understand their associated workflows and business processes.
• Develop and maintain requirements documentation, process flows, business rules, and functional specifications.
• Collaborate with QA teams to define test scenarios, acceptance criteria, and support SIT/UAT activities.
• Participate in defect triage, issue analysis, and resolution discussions.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and application enhancements.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of projects and product enhancements.
• Communicate project status, risks, dependencies, and business impacts to relevant stakeholders.

Required Skills

• Strong experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or Business Systems Analyst within the Capital Markets domain.
• Strong knowledge of Equity, Derivatives, Securities, and Trade Processing .
• Understanding of the front-to-back trade lifecycle .
• Experience gathering and documenting business requirements.
• Experience creating user stories, acceptance criteria, BRDs, FRDs, and process flows .
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working with development, QA, and business teams.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
