Quick Facts: Location: Reno, NV (1155 Mill Street, Reno, NV 89502) Start Date: 04/28/2026 Duration: Permanent, Full-Time Shift: Day shifts (details to be discussed during interview) Hours/Week: Typically 40 hours/week Employment Type: W-2 employed position License/Certifications: Valid MD/DO license required; Board Certified/Eligible in Pediatrics or Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Experience: Experience in neonatal or pediatric hospital medicine preferred Pay & Benefits: Pay: Competitive salary range of $190,000 – $230,000 based on experience and training (discussed during interview) Benefits include: Medical, dental, and vision coverage Life and disability insurance Flexible Spending Accounts and HSA options 401(k) retirement plan and employee stock purchase options Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance (if applicable) Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with all applicable laws Travel, licensure, certification, and other reimbursements when applicable What You’ll Do: Perform newborn nursery examinations and assessments Conduct circumcisions and other neonatal procedures Collaborate with neonatal intensivists, hospitalists, and subspecialists in a Level 3 NICU Participate in education of residents and medical students Work alongside dedicated nurses trained in neonatal care Utilize Certified Lactation Specialist support available 365 days/year Contribute to patient-centered care in a hospital setting with 24/7 neonatology coverage Engage in continuous quality improvement and clinical excellence initiatives What You Need: Valid MD/DO license in Nevada or the ability to obtain licensure there Certification or eligibility in Pediatrics or Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Experience in neonatal or pediatric inpatient medicine preferred Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team About the Assignment: This full-time pediatric hospitalist position at a prominent hospital in Reno offers the chance to provide high-quality neonatal care in a well-supported environment.
