In July 2025, the State of California implemented the Personal Leave Program (PLP) 2025. This program temporarily reduces employees' monthly base pay in exchange for paid leave credits. This position is subject to PLP 2025 and will have a monthly base pay reduction of 3% in exchange for 5 hours of leave credits through June 2027. Working Conditions
SPECIAL CONDITIONS
This position requires extensive travel statewide up to 50% of the time, working in adverse conditions (e.g., inclement weather, remote forests, biting insects, poison oak). Travel can last for two weeks or more during incident surveys.

Special Requirements

• The position(s) require(s) a(n) Land Surveyor License. You will be required to provide a copy of your license prior to being hired.

Possession of a valid Land Surveyor License issued by the California Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors. A valid Class "C" driver's license to operate a state owned or leased vehicle is required.
