Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Medical Technologist to perform routine and complex laboratory testing in a fast-paced hospital environment. This role supports accurate diagnosis and patient care through high-quality lab analysis across multiple specialty areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform clinical laboratory testing in Chemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank, and related areas
• Analyze and report test results accurately and timely
• Follow laboratory protocols, quality control, and regulatory standards
• Troubleshoot instrument issues and perform corrective actions
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with procedures
• Support specimen processing and assist in departmental operations

Requirements

• ASCP Certification preferred
• Florida State Medical Technologist License required (3+ lab areas preferred)
• Associate Degree in Medical Technology (Bachelor’s preferred)
• Minimum 3 years hospital lab experience preferred
• Strong critical thinking and ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting
• Blood bank experience preferred
