About the Role:

Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual and group training sessions for dogs of various breeds and temperaments
• Develop customized training programs based on the needs of each dog and owner
• Teach basic obedience commands and advanced training techniques
• Monitor and assess dog behavior and progress throughout training
• Provide guidance and support to dog owners to reinforce training at home
• Maintain a safe and positive training environment
• Stay updated on the latest training techniques and dog behavior research
• Collaborate with a team of passionate dog trainers and staff

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a dog trainer or in a related field
• Strong understanding of dog behavior and training techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Certification from a recognized dog training organization is a plus
• Ability to work with various dog breeds and temperaments
• Passion for animal welfare and commitment to positive reinforcement methods
• Strong problem-solving skills and patience
• Willingness to continue education in dog training and behavior
