About Travel Guard

This role is part of our Travel Guard team. Travel Guard is a leading travel insurance brand, serving millions of leisure and business travelers worldwide. Established in 1982 we offer a comprehensive portfolio of travel insurance solutions and global assistance services. Travel Guard operates service centres across Asia, Europe, and the Americas, ensuring 24/7 support to help travelers navigate unexpected circumstances that may disrupt their plans. Travel Guard became part of Zurich Cover-More in December 2024.

What you’ll be doing:

In this role you will oversee facilities operations, projects, and vendor partnerships across our Stevens Point, Houston, and Omaha offices. You’ll play a key role in ensuring safe, efficient, and well-maintained work environments while supporting strategic real estate and workplace initiatives with integrity.

• Maintain relationships with service providers and landlords.
• Oversee facilities management operations, project delivery, and supplier management across multiple office locations.
• Monitor vendor performance and ensure deliverables meet cost, quality, and timeline expectations.
• Ensure offices comply with safety regulations and organizational best practices, including emergency and evacuation procedures, housekeeping inspections, and compliance requirements.
• Manage vendor contracts and negotiate maintenance agreements.
• Develop business plans and manage project budgets, presenting recommendations and updates to senior and executive leadership.
• Support the budget and financial performance of facilities operations, ensuring cost efficiency and effective use of resources.
• Coordinate day-to-day building maintenance and safety activities, partnering with engineers and service providers to address facility needs.
• Partner closely with the Zurich North America Facilities team to support workplace and real estate initiatives.

What skills and experience you’ll bring on this journey:

• High school diploma or equivalent and 8+ years of Facilities Management experience, or a bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of Facilities Management experience
• Experience in facilities operations, project management, space planning
• Ability to travel 4-6 times per year to support facility operations
• Strong verbal and written communications skills
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
