About the Position

Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (07:00 - 19:30) Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a relevant setting License: State license required Certifications: BLS, ARRT Must-Have: IV start, contrast administration experience Description: CT Technologist position available for 3x12 hour shifts. The schedule is set for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. Holidays may be required if they fall on set schedule days. Outpatient and inpatient experience is required. Emergency room experience is also necessary. Experience in a teaching hospital environment is preferred. Must have experience with extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, head, and chest/thorax procedures. Experience with Siemens CT scanners is required. BLS and ARRT certifications are mandatory. Travelers will be required to float to different units as needed. Skills required include starting IVs and preparing/administrating contrast media. Daily caseload averages 84 patients. Preferred experience includes NICU/PICU and adult ICU. PACS experience is a plus.
