Registered Nurse (RN) Winston Manor - Chicago, IL Winston Manor is seeking compassionate and dependable Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our nursing team. Our RNs play an essential role in providing quality, resident-centered care while providing clinical leadership and working collaboratively with nursing staff, physicians, behavioral health professionals, and other members of the interdisciplinary team. - Provide safe and appropriate nursing care to residents
- Perform nursing assessments and monitor resident conditions
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility policies
- Identify and promptly communicate significant changes in resident condition
- Notify physicians and appropriate members of the care team regarding resident needs and changes
- Develop, review, and update individualized resident care plans
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Supervise and appropriately delegate responsibilities to LPNs and CNAs
- Provide clinical guidance and support to nursing staff
- Respond appropriately to resident medical and behavioral health needs
- Communicate effectively with residents, physicians, nursing leadership, and members of the interdisciplinary team
- Collaborate with Social Services, behavioral health, Activities, Dietary, and other departments
- Maintain resident dignity, privacy, safety, and quality of care
- Follow facility policies, infection-control practices, and applicable regulatory requirements
- Perform additional nursing duties as assigned
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Illinois
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to supervise, delegate, and provide clinical leadership
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional approach to resident care
- ICF, behavioral health, long-term care, or related nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Must meet applicable health and background requirements
- AM: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
- PM: 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM
- NOC: 12:00 AM - 8:30 AM
- Full-time and part-time opportunities available
- Weekend and holiday availability may be required based on facility needs
