Facilities Associate

The Facilities Associate with The Restaurant Store is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment in a retail branch location. The Facilities Associate will achieve a variety of operational goals by performing daily janitorial and building upkeep tasks. By ensuring the branch is consistently clean and well-maintained, the Facilities Associate supports a positive customer experience while aligning with the operational goals of our store teams.

Job Location: 705 Morehouse Drive, New Castle, DE 19720

Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming retail branch environment
Perform daily janitorial tasks, including sweeping, restroom and breakroom cleaning, and dusting shelves
Clean and sanitize flat surfaces such as manager counters, phones, and cart handles
Operate floor scrubbers and maintain floor cleanliness throughout the branch
Handle outdoor cleanup, including trash removal and seasonal maintenance
Support a positive customer experience through consistent building upkeep
Align facility maintenance efforts with the goals of sales, merchandising, and inventory teams
Perform additional tasks and support initiatives as assigned by management to ensure smooth location operations and alignment with overall business goals

Physical Requirements

Work is performed while standing and/or walking, up to and including 9 hours/day.
Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
Requires regular bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
Requires the ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs.

Qualifications

Experience

Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in retail and/or supply chain management
High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Education

This role does not require a degree. We value relevant skills and experience and alignment with our core values above all else.
