Adjunct Clinical Nursing Instructor (Manchester, NH) – St. Joseph’s College of Maine Contract position teaching Clinical Student groups for the Fall 2026 semester. Candidates will present to undergraduate nursing students and may precept and orient staff nurses. The role focuses on Psych/Mental Health clinical education. Key Details Location: Manchester or Nashua, New Hampshire Job Type: Contract Season: Fall 2026 (with ongoing recruitment each semester) Responsibilities Deliver clinical instruction in Psych/Mental Health nursing to undergraduate students. Precept novice students and provide orientation for new staff nurses as needed. Assist in developing and evaluating clinical learning objectives and assessments. Maintain accurate clinical logs and reports in accordance with college policies. Collaborate with faculty and clinical partners to enhance program quality. Qualifications Master’s Degree in Nursing or BSN with current enrollment in an MSN program. Active New Hampshire or compact nursing license in good standing. Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience in Psych/Mental Health. Experience teaching or precepting undergraduate nursing students preferred. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams. Flexibility and commitment to meeting student learning needs. Preferred Qualifications MSN or enrollment in an MSN program. Experience supervising nursing students in clinical settings. Prior experience precepting or orienting staff nurses.
