Highlights Location: Vero Beach, FL Facility: Indian River Hospital Department/Unit: ICU Schedule: Full-time, Night shift What You'll Do Provide direct nursing care. Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record, and communicate patients’ conditions. Evaluate, update, and revise plan of care to facilitate achievement of planned and expected outcomes. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs. Educate patients and family with educational materials considering cultural issues and other special concerns. Administer prescribed medications and treatment in accordance with approved nursing protocol. Requirements Education Graduate from an accredited school of Professional Nursing (Diploma, ADN, or BSN program) required. Experience 1+ year of current acute care RN experience OR licensed military RN experience required. ICU RN experience preferred. Licenses & Certifications Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross required.
