Litigation Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks an experienced Litigation Attorney to join their team in Long Beach, California. The successful candidate will manage a diverse caseload, guide clients through complex legal matters, and represent them in court. This role requires a strong background in litigation and a passion for achieving justice. Duties Oversee all phases of litigation from case inception through trial, including strategy development, discovery, and settlement negotiations. Meet with clients to understand their legal issues, provide advice, and develop effective strategies. Represent clients in court hearings, trials, and arbitration proceedings. Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to inform case strategy. Prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests. Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to prepare trial materials. Evaluate cases, identify issues, and provide recommendations for action. Maintain strong communication with clients, providing regular updates. Requirements Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. Licensed to practice law in California. Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, with emphasis on personal injury or employment law. Outstanding communication, negotiation, and courtroom skills. Proven trial experience with the ability to represent clients assertively. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Ability to work collaboratively and independently while managing multiple cases. Education Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. Certifications Licensed to practice law in California.
